Happy 4th of July!!!!!!!!!

I hope everyone has an amazing Independence Day today and stays safe! We are planning to grill out with family, go to see a minor league baseball game, and see the fireworks. Very laid back, but we will be spending most of this weekend on the boat at the lake since family is coming in.
Look at how our family has grown in 1 year! The one at the pool was in 2006 and the one in the grass is 2007 - same outfits!

It's amazing to me to think back on this time last year. We decided to adopt from Guatemala on July 5th, 2006. This time last year we thought we would get started, take our time, and probably end up adopting a toddler or preschool boy. WOW does God have His own plan and makes it known! :) We jumped in with both feet, told our terrific agency we would take whatever child God had in mind for us and I'm sooooo glad we did. Kemry is such a wonderful blessing to our family! I cannot imagine her not part of our family.
Below are some of my favorite "patriotic" pictures of our family. The last one is special to us because it's Kemry's first steps on US soil in the Houston Airport - the day she became a US Citizen!!!!
